Friday I gave you my mini-review of the new zombie comedy ‘Warm Bodies.’ It’s a must see on Valentine’s Day–action for the guys, romance for the girls, comedy for everyone, and even gross out alerts for the squeamish. Think ‘Shaun of the Dead’ + ‘Romeo and Juliet.’
Now as much as I loved the movie it is the marketing campaign set up around it that got my attention in the first place! Sure, the trailer got my attention, but the way they’ve been viral marketing this movie is really quite cool.
Scrolling website may seem like a thing of the past, but these guys use it to their advantage with a fixed image of their hero R. Users scrolling down the page learn more information based around the figure. My personal favorite is the featured image for this post (also shown below).
Then there’s the social media aspects–Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. The possibilities are endless. I particularly enjoyed their Pinterest posts.
